You just missed FIAFEST 2026, and yes it was amazing!
Our third FIAFest – Falmouth International Arts Festival, brought world-class performance and local talent together across the town partnering with local business including the iconic Falmouth Hotel.
This year we brought artists including comedians Sarah Keyworth and Cally Beaton, theatre makers Figs in Wigs, Emma Frankland and Temi Wilkey, Beatboxing adventures for kids with SK Shlomo, Internationally renowned company Ontroerend Goed, talks from the inspiring Flotsam Flo and hilarious creator of Motherland Helen Serafinowicz and ourSaturday Spectacular featured the ledgend that is MR MOTIVATOR!
The festival is our chance to highlight Cornish talent alongside national and internationally recognised work.
Impossible Producing (who curate FIAFest) delivered a 2 day retreat meets conference meets showcase alongside the festival for 150 local and national delegates. The Made in Cornwall Showcase - supported by the Shared Prosperity Fund and Arts Council England featured new work developed by Impossible with SW artists; Seamas Carey’s Community Service, Kyla Goodey and Amy Pitts Pharmacy of Fresh Air, Chris Cox Choice, Emily Aldens In My Head, Charlotte Merriams Sad Bride, Tamara Rosenwyns Donut Dollies, Penny Davies Cyborgs. The Half Baked New Writing Showcase platformed 5 new scripts; Aunting by Alix Harris, The Mayor of Nancegollan by Carl Grose, Campus by Gareth Farr, Life Underwater by Laura Horton and American Justice by Richard Vergette - with 5 directors and a cast of 25 including Giovanna Fletcher and Arthur Darvill
Since launching in 2022, FIAFest has brought theatre, music, comedy and events to stages andunexpected spaces across the town with Internationally renowned artists including Abandoman, Okhams Razor, Eloina Haines, Le Gateaux Chocolat, shining a spotlight on Cornwall as a place of cultural interest and highlighting local artists on the same platform.
In 2026 the festival showcased 12 new projects by local artists through the Made in Cornwall Showcase Summit - and partnered with 53 local business and organisations reaching over 9000 people live and 400,000 digitally.
